HB baby!!! Hometown here we come! If you haven’t heard by now, my Ramen Burger will be at the Huntington Beach Sister City Cultural Festival tomorrow from 11am to 4pm. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it out this time but the west coast family will be holding it down. So get out and go say hi to my mom for me!!

Tahara-san, the master knife-sharpener from Sakai City, was in New York for the Restaurant Show and today he was holding a knife-sharpening demonstration at Korin.
After exchanging emails and keeping in touch for almost a year now, I wasn’t going to miss this for anything.
This man is an honest Japanese hero.
Can’t wait to see him again in a few days.
